Jesse has a decade of experience in county jail operations. Before joining CGL, he served in multiple roles with the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office and Jail, including as a certified corrections officer and law enforcement officer. His hands-on experience provides him with a strong understanding of facility operations, criminal justice system interdependencies, and the realities faced by both staff and incarcerated individuals. Jesse has developed cost-saving policies, managed emergency planning efforts, and implemented initiatives that strengthened staff-inmate relations and improved operational efficiency.

What's your favorite CGL project you've worked on?

The Virginia DOC Staffing & Operational Assessment.

This was my first project with the company. It not only provided me with substantial experience, but also deepened my understanding of the reasons behind our work in this field. This project was instrumental in shaping my perspective on the importance and impact of our efforts in corrections.

Which core value do you relate to the most?

I most identify with the core value of, “Set Your Own Path.” I believe that everyone’s unique experiences contribute valuable perspectives to collective efforts. While learning from others is crucial, it’s equally important to recognize where one’s individual strength can enhance the broader picture.

Where in the world would you like to travel to next?

I would choose the Swiss Alps. I’m a sucker for the mountains, and from what I’ve seen in photos, the Alps look like something straight out of a movie. Seeing them firsthand is something I aspire to do.
