Joseph McKenna

VP, Director of Business Development

Joe has been in the corrections industry for over 15 years, and is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities by cultivating and maintaining mutually-beneficial relationships with current and potential clients and project partners to help CGL expand its current market influence. Prior to joining CGL, Joe managed business development efforts for Oldcastle Infrastructure’s Modular Group and served as the Director of Business Development for Tutor Perini Building Corporation.

What's your favorite part about working at CGL?

The challenge of solving complex problems as well as the sense of accomplishment that comes with finding a solution. I enjoy my workplace’s collaborative environment and the opportunity to work with talented and passionate colleagues.

Which core value do you relate to the most?

Strive for Excellence. It’s about consistently doing your best and challenging yourself to exceed the standard or average. This process can be both rewarding and challenging, and the sense of accomplishment at the end of each day serves as a powerful motivator.

Where in the world would you like to travel to next?

If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would go to Vermont. It’s an ideal spot for vacation for the outdoor enthusiast. There are activities for each of the four seasons not to mention terrific people, beautiful landscapes, and wonderful food.
