What's your favorite CGL project you've worked on?
I don’t believe I have a specific favorite. Many of the projects (like the many state correctional operational analyses and the multitude of jail staffing needs analyses) have directly assisted states and counties in improving their operations. Seeing our work result in real improvements is rewarding. Last year, I led a very consequential after-incident review of the escape of an inmate from a state prison transport. During the 22 days on escape, the inmate tragically murdered four grandsons and their grandfather. That project clearly reminded us all of how important the work we do is.
