Portland, Oregon–The new Multnomah County Central Courthouse glowed blue this past week over the Willamette River to show support for the first responders and healthcare workers in the COVID-19 pandemic.

To create the effect, blue film was added to windows on three stories of the building. Members of the project team commented on how the blue lights display makes the building appear as if it is wearing a mask. The courthouse is slated to open this July.
