GOSHEN, Ind. – Tuesday, November 16 marked the official groundbreaking of the new Eklhart County consolidated courthouse project. County leaders and members of the project team were present to commemorate the occasion, a project decades in the making.

“This major project, 30 years in the making, will improve services for every citizen of Elkhart County,” said Frank Lucchese, Elkhart County Commissioner in attendance at Tuesday’s ceremony. “At the same time, we’re consolidating into one convenient location, and we’re further modernizing how we work on behalf of the citizens who live here. When this complex opens in 2024, I believe it will be one of the most efficient and accessible County Court systems in the country. And that’s good news for everyone who lives and works here,” Lucchese said.

The new $93.9 million Elkhart County Consolidated Courts Campus is being built on a 32-acre site at 1905 Reliance Road, Goshen, Indiana.

The project is slated for completion in June 2024.

Congratulations to the County and the talented project team involved!
