Who We Support

Our staff has a variety of passions and organizations they support, and therefore so does CGL Reach!

Our efforts support various types of non-profit and charitable organizations, such as those focused on providing food and shelter for the homeless, promoting education and literacy, protecting the environment, advancing healthcare and medical research, supporting animal welfare, empowering marginalized communities, and advocating for human rights and social justice.

CGL employees attended Sheriff Richard Roundtree’s 10th Annual Charity Gala in January 2024. The Gala is a formal black-tie event, with live music, live & silent auction, cocktails and dinner. All proceeds benefiting local charities in our community (Richmond County, Augusta, GA).

Richmond City Justice Center’s Food Drive. VCCW’s Chief Maintenance Engineer Rachel Conzalino and VCCW’s Automotive Technician Donzell Goodwyn went to assist the Facility Manager of RCJC Jason Conzalino with packing up food for the community.

"'MORE Justice' in an acronym for Midlands Organization for Racial Equality. The organization is comprised of many different congregations (Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist) and other organizations, which in turn represent many different traditions. MORE Justice serves the Columbia, SC area. Each member believes something different, and each of us share a commitment to pursuing justice – to finding , in the things we share, the strength that unity can bring. We vow to respect each other for the things we share, and for the ways that we are different. This past year, our research-based political action efforts influenced the commitments from local governments to spend more than $5,000,000 on food insecurity, affordable housing, and prevention of gun violence. "This little one’s name is Mave. My wife works with her mother. She is four-years-old and was diagnosed with Stage Four stomach cancer. I am in a motorcycle club and we took up a nice donation and went and saw her between treatments to gift her presents with all her favorites; and by that smile I think we did well.” - Steve Martin

"I give back to my community by coaching 9-10 boys youth basketball. We are called the ‘Richmond Spiders!'" - Orlando Blount

"Our family collected personal supplies for seniors in the community as part of our neighborhood elementary school's 'Be A Bunny' supply drive." - Regina Pyles

"Over the last few months, I've had the distinct opportunity to volunteer with the Aiken (SC) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated's free 'Envisioning Art Through Dance' workshop series. The initiative seeks to hone students' talent, develop their technical and creative skills, provide mentoring, and increase exposure to the arts. The group has worked with local educator and dancer Myles Spring and students from Aiken County public schools toward a culminating exhibition where the students will perform a piece inspired by African dance. I also designed keepsake t-shirts for workshop participants and volunteers and look forward to seeing the students perform later this month." - Regina Pyles
